3Shape Custom 3D Waxing Software is a flexible and intuitive 3D modelling software package in which you can easily create 3D models of caps, inlays, crowns, and bridges (up to 14 units) ready to be milled.

User-friendliness: the software offers an intuitive Windows XP interface customised for easy restoration design. The operator is guided through all the steps of the design process. Minimum training requirements are needed for anyone with basic computer skills. Training can take place on-site or at Stoneglass's headquarters.
Versatility: 3Shape's Custom 3D Waxing Software allows you to rapidly design caps, crowns or bridges according to your needs: just select the tooth/teeth preparations you want to work on and specify which restoration type you want to design.
Multi-dimensional interface: the software allows you to work in 3D and 2D simultaneously, depending on the required operation.
Teeth and pontics libraries: create your own 3D teeth and pontics libraries or use the ones included with the system.
Real-time analysis: 3Shape's interactive tools can be used to take measurements and compare results.
Productivity: the 3D waxing can be completed in a few minutes and results can be assessed on screen in real time.
Automation: the software can automate a number of 3D waxing steps, including finding the optimal direction of insertion, detecting the preparation lines, detecting and fill potential undercuts and estimating the orientation and scaling of crowns or pontics.
Flexibility: all 3D waxing operations can be undone/redone at any point in the design process: the software recalculates the restoration according to your input in real time. Existing designs can be opened and altered in a few clicks.
